In summer 2018, NOW Organic International has introduced a new own brand: GO-NOW. This is a new line of organic juices. “The ginger and turmeric juices are 100% pure juices without additives,” begins Hans Versteegh, one of the owners of NOW Organic International. These juices are ‘ready to mix’ and can be mixed with water, tea, fruit juices, and/or smoothies as desired. The other 2 juices are ‘ready to drink’. We have a mix of mandarin juice with ginger and a mix of mandarin juice with turmeric. Delicious and healthy juices known for their spicy taste sensation, blood pressure-lowering, pain-relieving, purifying, and anti-inflammatory effects, and they can also promote healthy digestion
NOW Organic cultivates and processes organic ginger in China. “We have been growing and importing fresh ginger from China for some time now. In Dalian (Northern China), we have our own factory where we wash, dry, and package the ginger for transport to the Netherlands. Rob van Baal started this company in China in 2006 and is responsible for the daily management there.”
In the Netherlands, Hans Versteegh ensures the distribution of fresh, organic ginger to various wholesalers. “For the past 3 years, we have also been pressing fresh ginger in the Netherlands for the industry. With the juice, we are now completing the circle: we grow, import and export, press and bottle, and now we also have our own brand: GO-NOW. We distribute the juices through wholesalers, so they end up at hospitality establishments such as beach tents and juice bars. Gyms, drugstores, health stores, and regular retailers are also very enthusiastic about the launch of these new products.”
